Elecard AVC PlugIn is the package of Elecard components for AVC/H.264 (MPEG-4 P.10 ISO/IEC 14496-10) and AAC (ISO/IEC 13818-7) data decoding. It is developed for use with Elecard products: MPEG Player, DVD Player, XMuxer Pro and XMuxer Lite.

This plugin allows you to play WavPack files in the Apollo audio player for Windows. All versions of WavPack files are supported (back to 1.00) and both lossless and lossy modes are playable (and seekable). Files encoded in "raw" mode prior to version 4.0 will not play.

This version of the plugin supports reading both ID3v1 and APEv2 tags. If either of these tags are present on the .wv file, the artist and title will appear in the Apollo playlist and additional info will show in the additional information dialog.

The plugin can use the .wvc files (if present) to enable lossless playback of hybrid files. However, because this requires more CPU processing and disk seeking (or network bandwidth), a configuration setting exists to enable this only if desired.

ReplayGain is now supported through the APEv2 tags, although the ReplayGain information must be calculated and stored in the tags by another application (Foobar2000 is a good one). The configuration allows the choice of ReplayGain mode (disabled, track or album mode) and a choice of action in the case where a track (or album) will clip after the ReplayGain is applied. The choices are to simply hard clip the samples, to apply "soft clipping" that rounds the clipped waveforms, and a third option to scale down the track beforehand so that it will not clip. The current gain and whether soft clipping is active is shown as additional information.

To install the plugin simply copy (or extract) the file "WavPack_Apollo.dll" into the standard Apollo plug-ins directory (usually located at: "program filesapolloplug-ins").

his plugin allows you to use WavPack files with the popular CD-burning program Nero Burning ROM. It allows you to burn audio files directly to CDs without having to unpack them to intermediate wave files, and you can also use WavPack files as the "source" file for transcoding operations. Any tags (either ID3v1 or APEv2) appended to the WavPack files will be processed and loaded into Nero.

Writing WavPack files (with complete APEv2 tags) is also supported by the plugin. However, there is currently no configuration dialog, so only pure lossless files in the default mode can be created.

Nero version 5.5.9.0 or later is required to use this plugin. To install the plugin, simply copy (or extract) the file "nxWavPack.dll" into the standard directory for Nero audio plugins. In Nero 6 this is located at "program filesCommon FilesAheadAudioPlugins".

All WavPack files can be read with the plugin except "raw" files created by WavPack versions prior to 4.0, and any "correction" files are always automatically used if found.

This plugin allows you to load and save files in the WavPack format using Adobe Audition (or Cool Edit). It supports both pure lossless and hybrid WavPack files (with correction files) and bitdepths of 8, 16, 20, 24, and 32 bits (floating point). 32-bit float data can be stored natively, or converted in the filter to 20 or 24-bit integer with selectable noise shaping and dithering. Also, extra information like cue and play lists, artist/title information, EBU extensions and even bitmaps can be stored and retrieved in WavPack files.
